"Yaz...Yaz wake up Yaz" Clara ran her finger over her nose

"Mmmmmm"

"Wake up butterfly..."

"Whyyyy?..."she said with a yawn

"Quickly...get dressed" she moved the duvet from her

"OMG...Why? Where's the rush?" she whined trying to hold on to the duvet

"They set up the tables for the wedding Yaz" Clara hopped exited and started sliding Yaz's legs down from the bed getting her up forcefully "Come ooon...let's go and see"

"Have they?" Her eyes grew wide suddenly

"Aha...come oooon" she grabbed her hands pulling her up

They walked up to the garden where the hotel staff was still busy setting up the last details. Their eyes grew wide as they approached the garden.

"OMG!" Yaz sighed and squeezed Clara's hand

"Stars Yaz this is amazing" Clara tugged on her hand and ran twards the tables "This looks more beautiful than I could imagine...you like it?...Yaz?" she looked at Yaz and she was just standing there wordlessly staring at the tables.

They were breathtakingly beautiful and Yaz's  eyes were wondering around trying to take it all in, all the litte details. Small tiny blue and white flower arrangements ran in a straight line across the tables and thin blue candles set inside gold candle holders. Decorative antique gold plates were complemented by a white dining set and Tarids blue napkins wrapped through matching gold napkin rings. Everything was so simple and elegant and more beautiful than she could have ever imagined.

"Yaz?...You don't like it?"

Yaz turned around and broke down crying, her lip wobbled and tears just rolled down her face "It's stunning"

"Blimey Butterfly" she pulled her in on her chest "Don't cry"

"It's so pretty...I'm gonna get mascara on your shirt" she looked up smiling as makeup started running down her face

"I was worried there for a minute" she smiled wiping her face "I thought I messed it up"

"Noooo....I love the gold and Tardis blue"

She laughed "Tardis blue? Is that a new pantone?"

"Yes" she giggled "Come on..let's go and see everything" she smiled

"Look how beautiful the flowers are?" Clara said walking around the tables

"They are like meadow flowers...I love them"

"It's so simple and so beautiful"

"And the cake?" Yaz smiled across the table

"Oh noooo...you are not having me say this Yaz...my lips are sealed"

"Oh come ooooon...I'll  see it in few hours"

"Yes exactly...you will see it in few hours" she giggled

"Please" she grabbed her braces

"Nooo....get off me Yaz" she giggled ripping her hands off her braces "No way missy"

Yaz pouted her lips "Not fair"

"You're cute when you sulk"

"Fuck off Clara" she laughed

"Come let's see the gazebo" she grabbed her hand and pulled her along

Hotel staff was still decorating it with flowers when they came and Clara pulled her hand jumping over the little steps

"Waaaw...we're gonna be standing here" Yaz said "I'm nervous...it's so on display in front of everyone" she looked down to the row of chairs

"Do you take this crazy woman to be your lawful wife Yaz?" Clara giggled behind her back

"That depends" she laughed

"On what?"

"Will she be honest and share her deepest darkest secrets with me?" she turned around smiling

"She won't...Doctor always lies" a voice jolted them

"Oi you!...I'm gonna rip that invitation you know" she points her finger at Jack

"You wouldn't" he ran up the podium and grabbed Clara around her waist swinging her around "You're not scary in this body" he giggled

"Oi ..Put me down..." she shouted "Looks can be deceiving Jack" she said sorting out her shirt

Yaz laughed her head off "Morning Jack"

"Morning...cute bride" Jack kissed  her cheek "I think your other guests have just arrived"

"Have they?" Clara jumped

"Yeah...the car just pulled up...I think it's Dan and his wife"

"Scouse!" Yaz jumped leaving Clara speechless "Come on let's say hello" Yaz pulled her by the hand

Jack and Clara's eyes met for a second as she was being pulled down the stairs


"Dan...!" Clara yelled as they stepped to the parking

"Doctor" he smiled as he was pulling the suitcase put of the booth

She came up and hugged him "So nice to finally have you here....Hello Di....I'm so happy to see you"

"Hello Doctor...what a lovely place" she smiled

"Nice isn't it?"

"Yaz" Dan's face lid up when he saw her

"Hiiii...." she smiled and came up hugging him

"Aaarhhhh...how are you doing Sheffield?"

"Sheffield?" She laughed "I'm doing great..." she smiled...I'm so happy to see you again"

"Yaz..this is my wife Di"

"Hello Yaz...Nice to meet you"

"Hello...nice to meet you too" she smiled

"So how's the preparation going?"

"Calmly for now...No Daleks...Master,  space squids and all that lot...we are breaking the record" Graham laughed coming out of the hotel

"Oi..  there's not gonna be any problems I can assure you" Clara said smug

"You sure about that?" Yaz raised her eyebrow

"Ej cheeky....You're supposed to be on my side you know" Clara turned to her

"She always was...she's just more realistic" Graham said "Hi Dan"

"Graham...nice to see you again"

"Right let me get you sorted into your room"

"Aren't you supposed to be getting ready Doc?"

"We've got time Graham...it's only ten"

"You always run out of time Doc...just saying"

"Not this time...not this time Graham...oh by the way I have to give you the rings"

"Yeah that would help massively" he laughed

"Yaaaaz!" Sonya shouted from their apartment

"Sonya! You're gonna wake up the whole hotel....Jesus...it's like were taking over this place"

"We are a bit" Graham laughed

"Nan is calling you"

"Alright...coming" she rolls her eyes "Sorry Graham family stuff ".

"Go ahead Yaz I just came out for a bit of air

"Stop shouting" she said as she walked up to the their terrace

"Nan says she needs to do your hands before her hands start shaking or it'll be a right mess"

"Alright " she laughed

"Hey Nanny" she smiled

"Morning Yazee...We need to do this now...I want you to have the most beautiful design"

"Oh she's still in the bathroom doing her hair" Umbreen said

"Jenny!!!" Sonya shouted

"Why is she shouting like that for fuck’s sake" Yaz frowned

"Where's my bride?" Jenny peaks through the door

"Morning Nanny Umbreen" she leaned over kissing her cheek

She leaned over and squeezed Yaz "Uuuu that looks cool...can you do that for me as well?"

"Mum's in the bathroom doing her hair and dad went fishing...he'll be back later"

"Want some coffee?" Sonya asked

"Yaz!" Ryan ran inside all flustered

"Who's the Doctor?" Umbreen asked confused

"Clara..." Yaz replied quickly

"Tardis is being towed away...I need the Doctor?"

"Long story Nanny I gotta go I'll be back"

"But Yaz....I can't..." she stayed totally confused

"Well...suppose I can do your design then" she looked at Jenny who was totally amused by the whole thing just laughing

"That's my box" she was saying stomping towards them calling Clara on her phone

"Yes butterfly?" she answered haply sitting down with Dan and Di in the restaurant

"I thought you said nobody can see the Tardis"

"They can't"

"Well, say this to the toweing company who's just about to lift it on a truck"

"Whaaaa?" She jumped "Hold on Yaz I'm coming"

"What's going on?" Di asked confused

"Don't worry...just a normal day with her" he smiled

"Oi... that is my box..." Clara shouted running

"Ma'am the hotel staff called us. You will have to take it with them...Do you have any paperwork for this?"

"Yes...yes I do..." she started digging through her pockets "Give me a minute...I am getting married and arrrh.....not my pockets...well they are my pockets just not my usual pockets" she rambled on "Aaaa...there" she wiped out the psychic paper shoving it in they faces

"Wedding prop rentals" the man reads it out loud

"The whaaa?" Yaz frowned

"Isn't that your garden shed?" Sonya asked behind Yaz's back

"Whaa?" Yaz turned around "What are you doing here?"

"Me?...What's your garden shed doing here?" she pointed

"Long story"

"Oh this is gonna be interesting" Ryan laughed seeing Kete coming up

"Kate" Yaz smiled

"What's going on?"

"Morning" Ryan smiled "Oh, they're taking Doctor's Tardis...she's losing it a bit"

"Oh, didn't know she came with the Tardis"

Sonya just looked around completely confused as men left and Clara was returning back.

"Hello everyone....sorry about that" Clara said smiling "Hello Kete, nice to see you...Did you just get here?" 

"Hello Doctor" she smiled

"Babe...Can we talk?" Yaz pulled her on a side by her sleeve

"Yeah sure Yaz...What's up?"

"What's up?"

"Yeah?...I sorted it by the way" she grinned haply

"My sister is completely confused out of her fucking mind about our garden shed being parked up in front of a hotel"

"Why are you shouting Yaz?...I have perfectly good hearing..."

"Are you out of you fucking mind?"

"Nooo...Although I have been few times but leaving your mind is not a good feeling Yaz"

"Clara!!!" she yelled

"Yes"

"Sort this out....Sonya...Tardis..." she pointed hysterically twards them

"I can just ..erase it from her mind"

"Forget I said that....Hey....morning Sonya"

"Oh, sentimental value...Left to me by my parents....long story...Having it here just makes me feel like they are with me...you know on my big day"

"Oh, yeah came this morning...I forgot to tell the hotel staff...it's just a mess...Come on everyone...let's go" she walked over to Yaz and took her hand winking at her "See...told ya it's fine"

Clara stood by the mirror all dressed up. She was turning around looking at her outfit from all the sides and felt a bit out of place with make-up on her face. Although it was the absolute minimum it still felt awkward seeing herself like that. But she was happier than ever.

"You look amazing Doctor" Di said smiling

"You think? ....This stuff on my face just seems so weird"

"You look beautiful...honestly" Kate said

"Alright...let's see what everyone else thinks...Shall we?"

"Woooow Doc" Graham looked at her wordlessly

"Does it suit me?" She smiled

"Doc...you look beautiful" he came up to her and kissed her cheek

"Aaaawww...thanks Graham"

"This is proper amazing" Ryan smiled

"You all look very dashing" she smiled

"Hey beautiful....wooooow...." Jack stood by the door with his eyes open wide "Is that you?" he walked over and took her hands swinging her around

"Still me Jack" she smiled

"You sure you haven't regenerated?"

"Nope still old me" she scrunched her face

"On a second thought...still you" he giggled

"Did anyone see my tie anywhere? DI?....Bloody hell!"

"So? What'd you think Dan?"

He shook his head "You're beautiful"

"I'm gonna cry you all.... stop this...I'm not that different...still old me...Well....we still have some time" she was fidgeting nervously then took a drink in her hand and wanted to sip it but realized it's alcohol and she took someone's glass then put it on a side. "Aaaaa....Another 25 minutes....and 30 seconds...and"

"Sit down Doc ..you're gonna make yourself dizzy"

"I already am dizzy....Aaaarrrhhh!" She jumped like something poked her

"What?" Ryan frowned

"My vows....I forgot my vows" she ran into the bedroom

"You did write them Doc?"

"Of course I wrote them Graham...." she frowned from the door

"I've never seen her so nervous" Ryan said

"She's more confused than usual" Dan laughed

"Graham....you got the rings...right?" She yelled from the bedroom

"Clara sweetheart" Nadjia knocked on the opened door seeing her standing lost in the middle of the room talking to herself

"Ha?..." she turned around flustered

"OMG...are you alright?"

"Nooooo....I'm not....Why am I so nervous?...I married before...I married other people before...I"

"Hey....it's alright honey" Nadjia brought her hand to her cheek

"Huh" she exhaled

"It's gonna be alright....you look beautiful"

"Do I?" She scrunched her face "I'm not sure...I...maybe different trousers...or braces"

"Nope....no braces...you look perfect Clara"

"Is she ready?"

"She's gonna be soon" she smiled

"Like a dream" she smiled

"Oh boy..." she flew into Nadjia's arms

"Come on...you're gonna be fine...Hey she's freaking put more than you" she laughed

"Oh yes"

"Sonyaaaaa!" Yaz shouted

"What?"

"My bangles? Where's my bangles"

"What bangles?"

"The fucking bangles Clara bought me.... where the fuck did I put them?" She ran around like a headless chicken tripping over her dress

"Yaz" Umbreen called her "Yaz....Yaaaz!"

"Ha? Yes?"

"Your bangles honey" she dangled them in her hand

"Oh god...I thought I fucking lost them"

"Yaz I really have to finish dressing you up...you're gonna be late"

"I know...I know...well they can't fucking start ut without me....Can they?"

"You're turning inti bridezilla" Sonya laughed

"Oi...girls..enough!" Umbreen shouted

"Sorry" they both said at the same time

"Now...Yaz...please sit down!!!" She yelled pointing her finger and finally calmed her down

"Don't be nervous" Jenny said "Look at it this way...you're already together, you already live together. So what the hell is changing?"

"Gotta point there" Yaz smiled "You look beautiful by the way"

"Only my best for you babe" she giggled and kissed her cheek

"Aaaa...look at my girls....smile" Hakim walked around with his phone

"Daaaaad stop it" Yaz whined

"It's your wedding day pumpkin...come on smile for your dad" he grinned

"Oh god" she rolled her eyes

"Right...you're all done...Where's yoyr mother?"

"She's gone to check on Clara....and we are late...she's gonna be there let's go...come oooon people...get a shift on" she lifted her dress and they all packed up quickly rushing outside

"Smile pumpkin" Hakim ran in front of her with the camera

"Right ..oh god...I'm gonna pass out" she said as she came by the narrow path leading to the gazebo

"No you're not...breathe pumpkin" Hakim lifted his arm up and she hooked her arm up "You look stunning...Let's get this show on a road...shall we?"

She took a big breath "Yeah" she smiled

She kept smiling and shaking as they walked slowly towards the gazebo and then she saw Clara and her heart stopped as their eyes met. She looked stunning in a blue and she saw her smiling nervously. Then she spotted Tardis right by the gazebo and frowned confused as she had no clue when Clara managed to move it. But she was happy she was there next to them.

Clara felt herself shaking like she never shook in her life and gazed at Yaz as she took her breath away.

Hakim led her to the gazebo and kissed her forehead before letting her go. Yaz giggled nervously as she climbed the little stairs glancing at Jenny who smiled at her haply then stood in front of Clara

"Stars Yaz" Clara grinned "You're so beautiful"

"You look stunning baby" she smiled nervously

The young woman smiled and spoke softly
"We are gathered here today in this beautiful place to witness the joining of two lives. This is
the marriage celebration of two people who have found each other and recognized each other as soul mates Clara Theta Sigma and Yasmin Khan.

Who gives the bride away?

"I consent and gladly give" Hakim said proudly with a massive  smile across his face

And who gives this bride away?

"I consent and gladly give" Graham winked at Clara

She grinned at him haply

Lady smiled and continued  "The heart of the marriage is to take another person in that person's entirety, with the good times and the bad times, with all the sad moments, and all those happy ones and the taking of that person as a friend and companion for life...You can now say your vows"

Clara took a deep a deep breath then reached into her pocket taking a small paper out

"My beautiful butterfly" she smiled "I faced many challenges in my life and had to make many hard decisions. I have loved and lost, fallen, and risen more times than I could count. But having you by my side means I will never have to face those challenges on my own again"

"You are fiercely loyal, trustworthy, generous, loving and selfless to a fault. You are my best friend, my light in the darkest of times, my anchor, my strength and my greatest support, my travel partner and my confidant. You make me laugh and challenge me. She looked up at her smiling then took a ring and placed it on her finger
"My beautiful Yaz...There are stars you haven't seen, and loves you haven't loved, there's light you haven't felt, and sunrises yet to dawn, there are dream's you haven't dreamt, and days you haven't lived, and night's you won't forget and there's more to you that you have yet to know and I vow to give it all to you...Huh...I can take a breath now" she smiled making everyone laugh and took a flower garland placing it over Yaz's head "Your turn" she said 

Yaz shook her head laughing, her eyes glistening with tears, then pulled out her little note

"My beautiful Bighead...You truly saw me. You understood me and accepted me, in ways no one else has, in ways that I believed no one else could or ever will. You gave wind to my back and showed me how to fly in the time of my life when it was hard for me to even walk. You beam that amazing smile back at me, immediately putting me at ease and brightening my day. You are my best friend, support and my light, and you've shown me more love than I've ever known or thought I deserve to have"

"I'm so grateful for your special brand of weird. To me, it means more than just being silly. It signifies a special, profound, unfettered and kind person that you are. It colors our tapestry with yet unnamed, exotic colors, known only to the two of us"  

She placed a ring on her finger and gazed at her as she continued

"I vow to shower your life with as much love and happiness as you have given to me, I vow never to leave your side no matter how hard life may be and I vow to be your forever faithful companion, friend and lover for as long as there's breath left in my body on this earth" she smiled "Don't cry" she whispered

"Trying not to" Clara said with a shaking voice as Yaz placed a garland over her head

Clara took a red scarf embroidered with Gallifreyan and wrapped it around Yaz's hand then wrapped the other end around hers

"I now pronounce you married...and you can finally kiss" the lady smiled

They gazed at each other for a short moment. Clara smiled and wrapped her hand on side of Yaz's neck "I love you" she whispered

"Love you too" Yaz smiled bringing her hand to back of her neck and they kissed gently

They pulled apart giggling silly. Clara took her hand and they stepped down from the gazebo. It took a while as everyone gathered hugging them and congratulating them 

"It was my absolute privilege to be here" Kate smiled "Congratulations"

"Pleasure is always mine Kate" Clara smiled

"Thank you so much Kate" Yaz smiled

"You both look beautiful" she smiled

"It was beautiful" Nadjia came over crying.

"OMG mum don't cry" she kissed her cheek

"Doc... I’ll never forget this..."

"Yaz honey" he leaned over and kissed her cheek

"Thanks Graham....you're a perfect substitute dad "Clara giggled

"Soo, Yasmin Sigma...how do you feel?" Clara asked rocking her slowly with the music

"I dunno" she laughed and tucked her face into her neck "It still seems so unreal...you?" She looked up at her dreamy

"Same" she laughed and brought her hand up to her lips kissing her knuckles then twirled the wedding ring over her finger "Like a dream...the one I don't want to wake up from."

"You don't have to" she smiled and brought her hand to the nape of neck "This one won't ever stop...You're so beautiful today"

"I thought I'm gonna pass out when I saw you Yaz...I'm acting like a teenager" she giggled then fell silent and kissed her softly

"Hey you two love birds"  Nadjia smiled "Your cake is here"

"OMG the cake" Yaz's eyes grew wide

"Yees you're finally gonna see it" she laughed

Yaz practically dragged her to the to the table exited and squeaked when she saw it.

"Soo?" Clara laughed "Do you like it?"

"It's absolutely stunning...the blue and the gold it all matches"

"Come on...let's cut it"

"I almost don't wanna ruin it"

"We can just keep it mummified in a fridge" Clara laughed

"Go on you two" Graham laughed "Are you gonna just stand there and admire it or cut it?"

"Give us a time Graham" Clara laughed

"We haven't got all day Doc"

The wedding went on till late at night and Yaz was already half asleep at the table. Clara kept chatting with everyone but even her eye started going funny.

"Clara darling" Nadjia came up behind her

"Yes" she looked up with tiered eyes

"Honey you two can go if you want...Yaz is falling asleep on a table anyway and it's almost five in the morning."

Clara glanced at Yaz who propped her head on her arm with half open eyes and giggled "Yeah she's out...I don't wanna be rude to guests"

"You're not darling...just go...you've done your bit and you need to rest. People can stay till dawn if they want don't worry about it"

"Late breakfast tomorrow morning?" Clara smiled

"Definitely" she kissed her forehead "Nightie night"

"Nightie night" she leaned over at Yaz who now slumped her head on table falling asleep on her arms "Yaz darling...let's go"

"Can we?"

"Yes...definitely. Your mum just told us to go...come on butterfly"

"Alright" she got up with a yawn.

They said goodbye to everyone and left. She leaned on Clara's shoulder as they walked back. Both dragging their feet.

"Noo...wait" Clara tugged her hand as they came to the door

"What?"

Clara grinned "Need to do this properly" she giggled scooping her up

"OMG I get a bridal carry...I can't believe you have strength for this" Yaz giggled wrapping her arms around Clara's shoulders

"I'm not doing this half way you know" she said smug and booted the terrace door then closing them with her bum

"You can put me down now" she giggled

She put her down and kissed her softly "I'm knackered "Clara giggled into her lips "I can't move Yaz"

"Me neither" they lied next to each other with their feet dangling over the edge of the bed completely exhausted

"Have to take this off me" Yaz raised her hands up in the air and started pulling all the jewelry off rolling over the bed and dumping it all on a side table "Help" she giggled as she struggled with hair pins

Clara rolled around and lazily pulled the zipper of her dress down kissing her bare back. "Wait I'll do it Yaz" she got up and started pulling all the pins out of her hair

"32....you have 32 pins Yaz...Doesn't that hurt your head?"

"Yees"

"Stars Yaz" she kissed her forehead and spread her hair over her shoulders then got herself unaddressed in a minute just dumping all her clothes over the chair

"Come on arms up" Clara said and pulled her top off

"Fucking hell...isn't this romantic....the state of us two" Yaz giggled and stood up taking the skirt of and scooping everything from the floor leaving it on the chair "That's it" she laughed as they were both left only in their underwear

"Beeeeed" Clara yawned climbing on it "My soul is sleeping Yaz"

"What's the time?" Yaz asked snuggling next to her

"Almost five" Clara looked at her phone

"Please say we don't need to get up in the morning"

"Nope...absolutely not"

They both fell silent running hands over each other lazily
